Join us in learning more about Beneficial Management Practices for Bird Species At Risk in working forests! These will be discussed within the context of the specific habitat needs of the species and, more broadly, the bird species associated with different forest stand types in Nova Scotia.
This workshop will be delivered in two parts:
These free events will be lead by Dalhousie bird researcher Dr. Cindy Staicer. If you have any questions about what will be covered, you can email Cindy at Cindy.Staicer@dal.ca. Pre-registration is required, and interested participants are asked to register by Wed. June 1st using the form below. Spaces for the field trip will be limited, so register soon to reserve your spot! Once registered for either event, we will contact you via email closer to the date with more details. Please arrive no later than 7:45am for the in-person field trip so we can get everyone checked-in and go over any COVID-19 protocols. These events are being hosted by the Family Forest Network as part of the Common Ground Project, in partnership with Community Forests International and Ulnooweg Development Group.
